When do I need to book a cake designer?
Most cakes are booked 1-3 months in advance.
November thru January should be booked 3-6 months in advance.
Always call for last minute availability, we’ll do everything
we can to accommodate your request.
Is there a minimum size or cost for custom cakes?
There is a minimum cost of $200 and or a minimum size of 10 servings or 6 inch cake, for all specialty or custom order cakes.
Do you deliver?
We deliver within a 1 hour drive of Kamuela, Hawaii.
Pickups and special circumstances can be discussed. Deliveries are made within a 1-hour window.
Delivery charges are based on your event location.
Delivery starts at $50 per cake.
How much will it cost?
Cake prices will vary depending on design. Due to the time involved in baking and design there is a $150 minimum on any decorated single tiered layer cakes, regardless of size. There is an added charge for multiple flavors. All of our cakes, aside from cake boards and some internal supports, are fully edible.
There is a $500 minimum on all sculpted cakes. Prices vary depending on design. There is a $100 deposit for all custom cakes. A $25 non-refundable deposit on all cake tastings appointments, which goes towards your final cake order. Sample prices; Buttercream with 1 filling, Fondant with one filling.
How many layers does your cakes have and what shapes do you have to offer?
All cakes are 3 layers
Shaped cakes (square, hexagon, heart, etc) - add $1 per person
Multiple cake flavors - add .50¢ per serving
Specialty fillings and frostings - add .50¢ per serving
Fresh fruit (seasonal) - add .25¢ per serving
What size wedding cake do I need to order?:

Decorations:
Human sugar figures start at $25, depending on difficulty.
Flowers range in price from $5 to $30 a flower depending on degree of difficulty.
Orchids start at $8 per medium orchid, $10 per larger orchids.

All of our sugar figures are sculpted entirely by hand and some of the more detailed figures will take many hours, often a couple of days, to create. The faces and details are hand sculpted and hand painted, and each character is an original work of art. Although entirely edible the sugar figures will last quite a long time and make lovely keepsakes if kept cool and dry.
A sculpted cake is a true work of art as it is carved and sculpted by hand and often needs an internal structure. Many hours go into the design and creation of these cakes and the price must reflect the time, effort and skill involved.
Please note that the number of servings in a sculpted cake are estimated based on the cake size prior to sculpting. I cannot guarantee serving quantities due the odd shapes of sculpted cakes.

Our custom designed cakes are priced from $7 dollars per serving, varying according to the complexity of your chosen design and the time invested in it's creation. The final price is determined by multiplying the price per serving by the number of servings you select.
